About the Event:
In the Fall of 2021, we hosted, alongside AID and Project Rishi, a Brighter Future’s Banquet! Our main goal and theme for this event was to raise money for the overall improvement of India’s education system, healthcare system, and development. We wanted to not only bring three organizations together, but also the communities within and surrounding the University Pittsburgh area. The night was extremely successful. We had incredible performances from Nitryamala, FCB, and Sangeet. In addition we incorporated activities such as getting henna done and playing games. In the future we plan to continue hosting events such as these to bring communities together in helping children in India obtain brighter futures!
